that garage looks familiar. can't remember the name of the apartment, but located on louisiana in midtown in houston?
Years ago I worked out a a VASA fitness that was in a shopping center. These two middle aged women would carpool together, were there everyday, and park it under the awning of the store next door. They were always there at 5 am so it was before anything was open but I was always shocked they got away with it.

But I also consider the fact that the F150 driver:
1.) Is too stupid to park well
2.) Is a big a-hole and did that intentionally.
Either way, the odds of serious damage to your vehicle are high. I double park my F350 CC LB across two spaces so I don't stick into the aisles, but I also do it as far from the door as possible and I don't do it such that it takes up side by side like that guy. Most of the places I need to park are full of fatties that aren't going to walk further than needed. I've watched people sit in an aisle for 15 minutes with a blinker on waiting for a spot instead of backing up 3 car lengths. It's insane.

I actually timed it one day, parking at the first spot I see or waiting for a spot. You save zero time waiting for a spot closer to the door. I can park 10 spaces down and by the time the other person parks their car closer and gets out, I'm passing them.

It was an 83 Mercedes 240D that I bought for $900 to not put miles on my nice Audi. No AC, but 5 speed and a cool ride.

One thing to keep in mind with respect to handicap spaces and stickers (placards/whatever) is that the driver himself may not be handicapped but may be picking someone up that is. Also, the tag appears to be temporary so he may have just had knee/back/hip/etc. surgery and had the unfortunate luck to be in that particular vehicle.
OR, he could be like I did once in college: a buddy of mine broke his foot, got a temp sticker for, I think, 6 months, went back to college without a car and gave me the sticker. I swear I used it ONCE -- during Christmas shopping when there was absolutely NOWHERE else to park and there was at least 2 additional HC spaces.
Shame on me. (I gave it to my GF, who was in his 80s at the time, but I doubt he used it).
Anyway, my parallel parking experience the other day went less than spectacular. I was at a court on a one-way street with some traffic, trying to get into a narrow space, and having a hard time wedging in. I couldn't go all the way forward and come back like we're taught (and I usually do) because of the traffic. 20 minutes later, I was off for court! Sheesh. I hate using excuses, but I kinda had to that day.

I don't know...If you live in Houston, you are well aware that a ton of able bodied people somehow seem to have unlimited access to these handicap placards, and zero shame using them.

It's a great way to require some body work on a new car. Sometimes the keys on your belt loop drag down the side when you walk down all that open space. He has literally invited more traffic to his car. Never mind the fact that there are folks out there that will absolutely park over the next line for no other reason than to make sure he can't get into his driver side door.
Highly recommended to just park in the designated area.
