Any thoughts about GV 70 2026 or 2027? Seems to be kind of under the radar. Contacts? Would consider low mileage cpo. Not sure which model yet. Probably lower end one.

Solid choice. However, get the 6, and skip the 4. Then enjoy.

Get the 26. Skip the 27.

We bought a 26 GV70 this past spring for Mrs LOYAL AG and she loves it. She doesn't drive a ton and it's our second car for sure but it's a really well done car from what little I've driven it. We got the 4 and it drives well. We traded in a 2015 Cadillac SRX which was a really well done car from a driving perspective and this rivals it.

Wife loves her '24 GV80 she got from Huffines in Plano. It's a very nice vehicle relative to others at that price point.

My wife really likes the Genesis. Anyone here with long term experience owning one?

My wife has been in some form of Genesis since Jan. 2023.
2023 G70 2023-2025
2025 GV80 2025-current

With the G70, we had a fair number of issues but they were all cosmetic. At least a few of these issues were caused by the dealer. At the time, the local Hyundai dealership was handling all the Genesis servicing and we were constantly *****ing at them.

With the GV80, it had some initial cosmetic quality issues that the dealer rectified quickly. It's currently at the dealer as it was found that the A/C was leaking, but this is first legitimate mechanical issue we've encountered. All servicing has been done by Genesis of Clear Lake and it has been a night/day difference between them and the Hyundai dealer.

I think you'd have a good experience owning a Genesis. The features you get for the cost is hard to beat. However, the depreciation seems relatively significant compared to other luxury brands. Having a good service dept at your dealer and a good relationship with them is also very beneficial…but this probably something that's good to have with any modern car.

I had a 2012 Genesis sedan when it was still a Hyundai model. Kept it for 11 years, really nice car that was still in great condition when I sold it.

Now have a '22 GV70. Very nicely appointed interior, comfortable, quiet, lots of convenience and safety features with the Advanced trim level. The Turbo 4 cylinder sounds and feels like a 4, but it has plenty of power. Solid vehicle so far, fingers crossed.
