Besides what is easily found online, I would appreciate thoughts on these. We decided on the CRV Sport L over the Rav4 but we haven't purchased one yet.

Wife has had two.

2018 CR-V EX was a company vehicle and it was great. Comfortable, roomy and good mileage but the tank is on the small side (like 13g).

She took a new job and we got her a 2022 CR-V EX, again, runs great, comfortable, good mileage and wife likes it a lot. Big enough to get stuff in it and high enough to see around on the road, but so large it's unmanageable in parking lots.

Back seat is plenty big for average sized adult for a long trip, can hold plenty of luggage.

I expect us to drive it for many more years and put 150-200k on it.

EDIT: we did not own the Hybrid models, just standard 1.5L Turbo.

How is road noise?

i almost pulled the trigger on a '26 trailsport. i did a lot of research and test drove a few. they are great cars. the ride is what you would expect from honda. the RAV4's are more expensive and don't think you get that much more in my opionion.

I like the TrailSports but the wife doesn't like the TrailSport badging on the exterior and interior so....no TrailSport.

I don't notice it but my wife drives it every day, not me. She's never complained about it.

Her biggest complaint is when vacuuming the car, the rear hatch area carpet is very cheap and thin and really hard to get things to suck up with the vacuum (not liquid, just 'dirt' in general).

Based on some comments I've seen, I believe the Sport Touring has some various features that reduce road noise that the Sport L does not have.
