My dad is selling his red Mach 1 with 145,000 miles. He's the sole owner and it is in pretty decent shape. He has an offer for $5,500 from his mechanic. Most i've seen for sale online have much fewer miles, but I can't help but thing he is leaving some money on the table.

I appreciate any insight from the TA automotive minds.

I believe all of those Mach 1s are standard. And yeah 5500 is a joke.

Unless the motor is blown or there are a lot of issues with it and the body is beat to hell I would start at $15k.

Actually, I found out that a small number were automatics.

This one was manual. Apparently it needed some minor work and he wasn't offered much on a trade in. He didn't listen to me and let it go.

Seeing some high list prices, but in terms of Sales:
$22,000 22k miles
$28,000 68k miles
$11,500 79k miels
$10,600 182k miles

Having trouble finding sales with miles that high, but seems like $11k is about that right spot. IF he got $5500 and it needed work, that might be an OK price depending on the work.

Ah you're right, looks like about 20% are autos. Post a pic of it.
