I have a 2012 Tundra, and I'd like to get a really nice steering wheel cover. I've bought the ones on Amazon, but I want an upgraded look/feel. Is there is a shop near The Woodlands that is recommended? I've seen online ones that look nice but are DYI and I'm not always the most patient.

I recently bought a wood and leather steering wheel for my son's 2008 tundra off eBay.

Much easier than dealing with the wrap, and looks and feels great.

I have chinese clone wheels on a few cars too. All work well. The leather/CF/alcantara quality isn't the same as an OE but most wouldn't notice.

I've done one of the DIY leather stitch overs. It turned out quite nice but it was tedious work to do the stitching.

I put one of the covers on my steering wheel, that you need to stitch.

It's pretty easy to stitch, but takes a half hour or so.

Agreed. My wife did one on our Sprinter that turned out really well but it took her forever and her hands were cramping pretty bad by the end.

Yep did this in my 2014 Tundra. Definitely a pain but I kind of enjoy tedious tasks sometimes if the result is worth it and it definitely was.

Yeah, 1ags is the MacGyver of Texags, he's not paying anyone to do that because he wants it done correctly.
