Wanting to put a better air intake system and looking for recommendations on best brand.

S&B relocates the intake higher in the hood. I'd expect it to pull in hotter air than the stock intake.

Thought that the banks one reduces the diameter of the stock one. Seems like it's likely to not improve airflow.

Stock is pretty good. I'd look for a new high flow air filter, because I don't think there much room for improvement on the current one unless you want to reroute it through the hood and into a hood scoop.
