Where would you take a Genesis for an oil change. Have heard bad things about the Hyundai dealer in town.

Good stuff, no help here, I didn't purchase a Genesis for this exact reason and I live in Houston. Bought a Lexus instead.

When we bought our genesis they told us while it's under warranty they would come get it, leave a loaner, then bring it back. Genesis of West Houston. Spring told us the same thing. If you bought on the Houston area I'd ask them first.

Lived in Dallas when we bought it. Don't anticipate replacing it anytime soon - low mileage and wife doesn't put on many miles now. Moved here in November.

Yeah just saw that. Genesis isn't the same type of premium as the European brands meaning there's not independent shops dedicated to just those brands and most others won't work on them. Find a good local mechanic and you'll be fine. For complicated things I like Wixon Automotive but they're off the beaten path so to speak on 21 in Kurten which is a hike for an oil change. They're good mechanics though.

I'm sure he'd love to hear about what you've heard.

Of course the Automotive Board will need to know if your Hyundai has the knob on the back or not.

Then I might check with them. They're next to Bedias Bank. Known them for years and have had them fix things the Firestones and Goodyears couldn't properly diagnose. Good family owned shop.
