We were on a wait list for about 8 months, and had pretty much given up hope, Then out of nowhere in January, we got a call! Finally got around to taking some photos, so figured I would share.

Some background, this was the only (and last) naturally aspirated V8 sports sedan in production for 2025. And Lexus discontinued it this year.

I love it. Reports of a "muted" exhaust were 100% true. I've already replaced it with a Borla exhaust (much better!)

Looking forward to upgrading the intake and suspension next!

Uber driver drove me in one of those to the airport one time, several years ago. Average time for me was about 45 minutes. He did it in 27. 95mph plus the whole way

He got 5 stars and a tip

I wouldn't touch anything but the exhaust, but that's your car. Intake needs a tune, otherwise it's a noise maker and that's it. Suspension is going to be fit for what kind of car it is, it if you want to track it, yes, stiffen it up

Loved my IS-F and GS-F. GS-F held its value really well as it was the last of its line. I imagine the IS500 will as well.

Not sure how to explain this. Does there need to be another "point"? I guess everyone has their preference? I like the way it looks, and I like the way it sounds.

I was excited to own the last naturally aspirated V8 sports sedan ever made, and I want it to sound like a naturally aspirated V8. The stock exhaust was extremely restrictive.

We sold our Supra for this. It's not a performance thing….the Supra outshines the Lexus in performance. But I never got a smile on my face from starting up the Supra. So yeah….its because it sounds cool.

Awesome ride! I like those BBS rims they changed for 2025. Traded my 2024 in last month and do miss it. Almost kept it when they low balled me for trade but they kept offering more until I said ok - the tax savings probably did it for me. Sewell currently has for sale over MSRP

The startup was glorious and mine was all stock. I did buy an Apex mid-pipe because yes it was muted but never installed it (going to sell it soon so let me know if you are looking at mid-pipes). I'm hoping to get an LC 500 once the hype dies down or maybe get another IS unless the price stays up there.

Crazy how the IS500 and LC500 used market have shot up in value in just the past 6-9 months. Also wild that they called you in January for a 2025 and it wasn't the wind-colored ultimate edition. Enjoy it and drive the **** out of it!

I was actually looking at adding a mid pipe eventually! Since this is actually a daily driver for my wife, I probably wouldn't install it for awhile, but hey, if I can get a deal, it would be hard to pass up!

We actually told them that we would take whatever came in (ultimate or standard edition), but they only made 500 of the Ultimates and besides the user on this forum who posted his, I've never seen one!
