I know nothing about the bronco's, but just doing a quick search new ones on autotrader, new ones are between $38k and $46k.

Also knowing it was a rental would be a turn off for me.

Yup. Zero documentation.
I do my own but it's likely Avis may have done one over the life

That doesn't change the fact that it is a concern. Maybe it's fine, but I personally would shy away from any former rentals.
