But not an Ecoboost! Ram has had killer sales on trucks and I decided to roll the dice on a Hurricane. It's pretty sweet so far. Good on power and the truck rides a lot better than I expected for a big off roader. I'm 250 miles in but I like it so far. It is missing the sound of a V8. I imagine everyone will tell me it's going to leave me stranded every week and never have parts. Maybe. But I love it all the same.

My wife picked up a Bronco a couple weeks ago we are also really enjoying. It IS an Ecoboost

crypton: Howdy fellow Hurricane Owner, got mine March 23, 2026 and LOVE IT. The interior is to die for. The engine is really something almost outta science fiction, and with a 100,000 warranty what is not to like. Sound system is wonderful. My only complaint, not really a complaint, is how long it takes to get all of the electronic bells and whistles set up, a zillion settings to make. Like you, wish it had some cool pipes for that turbo engine. Man, you step on the gas and best be ready to go, off like a rocket ship!

Nice vehicles. I have no problem with the 2.7 boost, 3.5 boost (we own two) or the hurricane. I would steer clear of the current generation Tundra equivalent though.

Thanks guys! I'm enjoying it so far ... all 300 miles I've put on it. That red interior looks great in person. It's not super bright red, it's like a blood red it's very nice. I find the Hurricane has a little more turbo lag vs an ecoboost but once it gets going it really screams. My previous truck was a Silverado with the 5.3 and the power is a night and day difference.
