That has to be a big blow to Bugatti. I know most owner buy for the name and exclusivity of the car but to know you dropped 5 million on a car that gets smoked by a 200k car is hard to swallow.

I thought Porsches were the girlie cars. On my above link. Full divulgence... no car gets to 150mph faster than the Corvette. The 0-60 is somewhat nominal. I am obviously a Porsche guy. Just being clear on the link provided.

Obviously I am choosing a Porsche 911 over a Corvette, I just enjoyed that Hagerty did a real life re-creation of an old theoretical data point on how fast a top fuel dragster is. If a Corvette was driving a steady state of 200mph and the top fuel dragster launched just as the Corvette passed, then the dragster would catch and pass the Corvette before the end of the 1/4 mile (or something like that)

I don't think anyone with a Bugatti gives a rat's ass about a $200k car, quite frankly.
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.

Surely, you must be kidding.

You have a high strung, unreliable vehicle for which any kind of maintenance, repairs and parts will be insanely expensive. Further, its not like there are garages or dealers qualified to do the work on every corner, or even every town.

The Chevy, meanwhile, will be far less expensive to maintain and repairs can be made at any Chevy dealership. Absolutely every aspect of Corvette ownership is simpler and a superior value compared to those high strung Italian go karts.

The hardest part of Corvette ownership is the constant struggle of explaining to everyone about how superior it is vs those "high strung Eye-talian go carts!"

BARB! GET THA HOTGOGS AND LESS GO! GOBBLES!

You don't have to explain anything of the sort. Nobody wastes any time thinking about Ferraris except a few fanboys in the Ferrari club. Most people go all year without seeing a single one. When they do see one, they can't tell one model from another, and they mostly think they are the blander alternative to a Lambo. They are vanishingly obscure and simultaneously not that interesting if you do run across one.

You seem to have a surprising lack of knowledge of the car world.
