Have a 4 door 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Installed an aftermarket Pioneer stereo about 5 years ago. Few weeks ago, the stereo screen went black. Took it to the local mechanic, thought it may be a fuse. They inspected it and said the stereo was bad.

Replaced the Stereo with the exact same model and they installed it. Worked fine for a few weeks. Went back out to the car the other day and the stereo blacked out the same as the previous one.

Any thought on what might be causing the stereo failure? Surge, fuse, etc? Just seems odd for both to fail so recently for it to be the stereo's issue?
