It is always one chirp when I use the fob to lock it. A couple times now it has chirped twice when locking with the fob. All the doors are closed and appear locked. There are no error lights on the dash and everything is working properly. I haven't done any mods or really anything other than oil and gas. Any idea what the truck is trying to tell me? I am going to change the battery in the fob, just cause. I know the truck battery is just over 3 years old, so maybe that is the issue?? I had it checked at autozone a month or so back and it was fine. Any ideas?

Is your other key in the truck somewhere?

No. Just double checked and it is where it always is.

Thanks. I will check that. I do know that when the center brake light went bad the truck did the fast blinker thing until I replaced it.
Oddly enough, it hasn't happened once since I posted the op.

Could also be a door closed sensor going bad.

This sounds like the most likely. I'm going to try locking the truck with a door open and see if it double chirps.

Nope. That wasn't it. Just one chirp with a door open.
