Pressed the button...
Making a different noise than usual and won't unlatch (open). I found the manual release but it too won't open the "door".

Anyone have similar issue? Any suggestions?

I've had this happen before on a different model. I squirted some penetrating fluid around where the latch is. Then pulled the manual release while pushing on the hinge side of the gas door. Also needed to use a plastic trim tool to give a bit of pressure on the latch side. It broke loose with enough wiggling.

I was going to suggest some pressure applied to the latch with a plastic tool while engaging the release.
