Random question but I just saw something odd. Was at a busy intersection this morning and looked up because I heard tires scratching but didn't notice any fast braking vehicles. There was a Cadillac suv with their hazards on trying to get through the intersection with their front wheels rolling and the rears locked up and tires smoking as they slowly pulled through.

Any idea what could cause that? Yikes!

These GM 1/2 ton diesels must be some real dogs. About as bad as the Oldsmobile 5.7L garbage that came out in the 80s. There was another thread on here recently about rear main seals going out on brand new ones. Unreal.

Unless it was a diesel Escalade with 4wd I don't think this is what it was.

It was not an Escalade. Smaller grandma suv. It was a crazy sight.

Maybe Midas left the parking brake on?
