I guess someone stole my antenna off of my 2022 f150. What is the best replacement to get?

I got one of those 6" stubby antennas and have no reception at all anywhere in DFW. YMMV.

I have Ronin 4in stubby and works for me in Austin. I see they now carry a 8 and 12 inch models on their site.

I have a short Rydonair on my F150, because the original one was hitting places in our parking garage at work. It's been fine, and I haven't noticed any difference from the original antenna. Got if off Amazon for $25.

There are a ton of .50 cal versions on Amazon if that floats your boat.

Stubby rubbery for SUREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Don't dare go back to that silly old huge one, no matter how old/generation you are. Stubby is 1000x better and only like $7-$8 bucks on amazon.

These rock... I like the first, shorter one better.... I have both on my new F150.

Awesome for car washes too... Wash Tub always takes mine off, puts back on, after washing.

Speaking of F150 antenna...

Is there a way to improve the SiriusXM reception in these Fords? My 2016 has always sucked near cell towers. My wife's Nissan has no problem, but the Ford just isn't good. Is it antenna or head unit?

For satellite radio it should be either you're getting it or you're not. There's not really an in between like with terrestrial radio. Unless your view of the sky is obstructed you shouldn't be having reception issues. I'd venture to guess your issue lays within the radio itself.

There's a pretty long running history of cellular network interference with satellite radio signals. SiriusXM operates in the 2.3 GHz band which is adjacent to many of the newer bands opened up for cell service. Frankly, the receiver circuitry in most satellite radios is rudimentary at best (low cost mass production) and does not reject strong signals in adjacent frequencies very well.

I have a 2016 F150 that had crappy SiriusXM reception in/around Houston. Did some digging and there is a SSM on issues with the antenna. Let me see what I can find.. it was probably 7 years ago...

EDIT - found it...

2016 F150 Sirius Satellite Radio - Audio Cuts Out/No Signal ***SSM 46016***

SSM 46016 - Effective Aug 19 2016

2016-2017 Expedition And Navigator Built On Or Before 08/12/2016 And 2016 F150 Built On Or Before 08/09/2016 - Sirius Satellite Radio - Audio Cuts Out/No Signal

Some 2016-2017 Expedition and Navigator vehicles built on or before 08/12/2016 and 2016 F150 vehicles built on or before 08/09/2016 equipped with Sirius satellite radio may exhibit an intermittent concern where the audio cuts out and the radio displays a No Signal message while driving in open sky conditions in certain locations in your area. This may be due to interference with cellular phone cellular phone tower signals. If a vehicle displays this condition near cellular phone towers, replace the audio unit antenna with part number GL1Z-10E893-AC on Expedition/Navigator and HL3Z-10E893-AA for F150.

This thread made me go buy a delete cap for mine. I'll stick the antenna under the seat if I need it, but I don't think I've used my AM/FM radio on a vehicle in over a decade.
