I drive a 2020 F-150 STX, and I'm looking for recommendations on dash mount phone holders. I'm tired of plugging my phone in to the USB and sticking it in the cubby hole next to the USB plugs for car play. The USB connection for CarPlay has always been a bit sensitive and I'm hoping having my phone in a holder will help.

I like using the cord for charging as well as car play. Otherwise, I'd be all for wireless car play.

Tackform in my 2019 Raptor. Super easy install and very stable. Clamps into the top corner of the vent, not the louver. Mine is a MagSafe mount with an extension/adjustment arm.

The mount is stuck to your dash board and you'll have a little nub on the back of your phone, but surprisingly this things holds tight. I've had it on for years and never had the ball mount fall off the dash due to heat. I've gone blasting through pasture and my phone hasn't fallen off. And it's super quick to take on and off the mount as it's just a magnets. You dont really even have to look at what you're doing to put it on

Thats actually really cool!

I've been using the scosche mag mount for years. You can get a vent clip or a stick-on mount. The Vent clip I can take to different vehicles which is nice.
