Changed the oil on Odysseus this morning and noticed a tear in this boot. It's connected to the air filter, so I'm assuming it's a pretty easy fix? There's an aluminum line that is also connected, which is why I'm wondering if this is something I can change myself.

I did a hasty iPhone light battery change a few weeks ago (because the battery can never strand your wife during the middle of the day when you don't have anywhere to be), so I'm assuming it happened then since I had to remove and bend some of that to get the battery out.

I'm going to do that. Ordered it off of Rock Auto because I needed to grab some front rotors as well because the pads looked like they were about ready to be replaced when I rotated the tires this morning. Guess I have next weekend planned.

What do you mean by fixed? Pads are worn out, so going to replace the pads and rotors.

Meaning that Oddys are notoriously hard on front brakes. Fix them and you'll be fixing them again soon

When you remove the intake tube, it's a great chance to clean the throttle body on the engine side. You'll see some black powder around a valve damper. With the engine off, you'll want to use some carb cleaner to spray on and wipe out as much as you can.
