I'm looking at these, also. I like the new Frontier and it's going to be the most reliable, but there are no rear AC vents. My kids will be riding in it a decent amount so that's my biggest holdup there.

Really like the look of the new Colorados/Canyons, but my last GM experience didn't end well.

Haven't looked at the Ranger too much; honestly just don't like the way it looks. I think if I were going Ford I might lean toward the Maverick and save a little bit more money.

New Tacomas are garbage.

I just bought a brand new Ridgeline Trailsport. Surprisingly, I got 26 mpg going 75 mph on a recent trip. It's the only midsize with ac vents for the back. I absolutely love this truck.

They MSRP for 47 but I got them down to 40.

Colorados and Canyons definitely have rear AC vents

Just bought a Colorado last week. Can confirm rear AC. And ventilated seats. Colorado performance and interior were much better than the Tacoma/Frontier after test driving all 3.

Yeah the rear AC vents were a requirement but I do not believe you can get the AC seats except on Denali Canyons. I never found it as an option in the Chevy.

There's an option on the Z71 and it's standard on the ZR2

The Ridgeline is growing on me. The early 2017-era redesign felt neutered looking to me, but recent updates have added bits of testosterone that improve the aesthetics. I kinda dig the Trailsport and RLT trims. I also LOVE how it has a 3.5L V6, unlike most of the others that now have a turbo 4-banger (although I've read good things about the GM/Colorado/Canyon turbo). It's a truck that drives kinda like an SUV.

It's on the Z71 Colorado. Have to get Convienance Package III on top of II.

Towed a 6000 pound 34' RV with my 4 cylinder Colorado and it had no problems with power. It's had a good history in 5 years with the Silverado as well.

Interesting we only got the 2WD but the technology package, convenience III and Bose.

The engine drives like a little diesel. Fantastic engine.

23-24 mpg @80

Pushing 27 if you keep it to 60-65mph

Ya I think 2WD is the limiting factor. Checked the sticker and it says "Z71 Convenience Package III"

I drive a lot from north Dallas to CS, including hunting and camping trips. The seats are very comfortable and it's a very smooth ride.

My favorite part is the trunk in the back. The spare tire is easily accessible and you can fit a set of golf clubs or gun cases in there. It also means you don't need a bed cover!

I think the ridgeline is the best midsize. Has the most comfortable back seats but also a v6. The trailsport is what I would buy.

Get a full size, they are making deals on them right now. 10k+ off sticker and good interest rates

I'm seeing some pretty well equipped '24 Colorado's about 8-9 off. Trying to hold off till December 31, but may have to pounce sooner.

Full size not ruled out, but 33-35k vs 42-48k...

TIL the Ridgeline has a trunk. That thing looks awesome.

It also has a drain plug so you can fill it with ice if you wanted to!
