OEM is 275/65-18. Came with SL tires with max psi of 51, 116 load index. Im seeing all SL replacements options with load index 116 but with a max psi of 44 or 51

Im assuming this…

- both tires have a load index of 2754 pounds at 36 psi
- although they have different max psi limits, they're basically the same tire. I can just inflate one more than the other while towing.

These two options are both 116 load rating, SL tires. Max psi is different…cooper is 44 and pathfinder is 51

Other than the obvious is there any functional difference I should expect with the pathfinder over the cooper?

Doubtful. But I've never reviewed max psi rating on any tire purchase ever.
