If you can unplug the tail lights and take off the fuel fill there are only 4 bolts to remove. Practice at home a couple of times and you can probably do it in less than 5 min with 2 people to push it off to the side at the scrapyard. Since you don't care about it the guy running the articulated loader might just run the forks though it and take it off which will save some time.Athanasius said:
So do you call a scrapyard to pick it up?
I parted out a Honda Insight once that I did not have the title for. I bought it to cut the front end off, to fix some damage on my daily driver. I took the wheels, the suspension, and a ton of other stuff which I sold on ebay. Since I had no title, the junkyard wouldn't pick it up so I called a "junk removal" ad on craigslist. A dude showed up by himself and used a come-along to drag it up on his flatbed.Flaith said:
If you do that, please put a camera on it so we can watch some old dude in a 2004 dodge ram attempt to lift a 300lb truck bed to put on top of the pile of metal already in his truck.
It got totaled in the hail storms recently. Found some replacements at reasonable prices, so was just going to replace.Milwaukees Best Light said:
