Consumer Reports is not a fan but I was hoping for some first-hand feedback. Considering replacing my '15 Tahoe. No need to tow, but mountain trips multiple times throughput the year.

I've had a 2022 Z71 Tahoe since last July, and I love it. Drives great, no real issues so far. Only downside is the gas mileage... it sucks. But if you're buying a Tahoe/Yukon, you probably don't care about the mileage hahaSchall 02 said:

Thanks man. Do you have the optional off road suspension? Any other options you are glad you have or wish you had gotten ?
Yes, I have the off road suspension, so far I've used it to hop curbs and that's about it haha. I got mine pretty much fully loaded, but what is disappointing is that they weren't offering cooled seats on the 2022 Z71 trim... if they are offering that now on the 2023s, I'd get that.Schall 02 said:

I've got '23 AT4 with 5.3. Had since February with 10k miles, no issues at all. Love the vehicle, as mentioned above gas mileage is mediocre but I don't buy it for that reason. I've got contact in Houston area if wanna talk to him.

Test driving a Denali w/ the 3.0 tomorrow. Been going back and forth on the 6.2 AT4 or the SLT or Denali with 3.0.
I wish they offered the 3.0 in 2023 AT4 trim and that's what I woulda gone with.
Get the 3.0. My father loves his. Gets 27mpg and 13-14 pulling his 32' travel trailer.
Same here. Guessing they can't drop the 3.0 in the AT4 because of space limitations w/ skid plate.

Not a lot of availability so I may have to order. A little worried about wait times.
You may never get one from allocation. Just throw on the search on GMCs website and start doing some calling.

Yea can't get 3.0 in new model AT4's maybe in future will be able to. The guy I got mine from had a dealer allocation in what I wanted so he put my name on the build sheet to reserve it for me. It began production in Jan and was delivered to dealer end of February. So if find one with specs you like that is already dealer order doesn't take too long. Will wait longer if build one I'm sire

Remember the 6.2 takes the higher octane fuel. At least that's what they told me.

That's what the salesman mentioned to me today as well. I probably can't wait that long, so will probably go with the Denali. I really liked how the 3.0 drove.
that 6.2 has been around forever. Regular 87 works fine.

It hauls ass, especially when accelerating at high speeds. That toque grunts hard. Can pass people pretty easily and while pulling something if need be.
I have the 3.5 boost and the 3.0 murders it towing. My dad had a 6.2 denali before it and he can't believe how much better the 3.0 is.

Z71 has leather with no butt blowers. No thank you, I'd rather have cloth
I have a 2021 GMC 1500 AT4 3.0 with a little over 50k miles. Nothing to report other than i get a consistent combined city/hwy mileage of 26 mpg and the truck has been great thus far with just regular maintenance. At this point I would definitely buy this again.
Had the first '21 sterling grey Z71 tahoe in houston. in the first 2 months there were 5 recalls on airbags, infotainment system, etc. The carplay never worked 100%. During the 4th month of ownership the fuel pump went out and was dead in my garage. I got rid of it after less than 6 months and traded it for a land cruiser. I actually got $2K over what I paid for trade-in.

I just talked to Classic Chevy Sugar Land and they are selling them at MSRP. Is that what y'all are experiencing? No way I'll pay MSRP on a Tahoe

Before everyone piles on, you can get good deals on expeditions and wagoneers currently. We have a wagoneer with the 5.7 and love it. We've been on Sewell's purchase list for a Denali with the 3.0 for about 20 months. We've probably been forgotten.
Everyone just HAS to have one of the GM tahoe/yukon products and they're still hard to find in the right trim/packages/colors for a decent price.

Yea Tahoe/Yukon are still in pretty high demand. Gonna be hard pressed to find any below MSRP.
Diesels are even harder to find especially if you have any color preferences or don't want a Denali.
Dang maybe I'll just wait then. Trade in values are so good but 76k for the package I want is a tough pill
Placed an order for a 3.0 Denali today and they're telling me 4-6 weeks. We'll see
I was planning on ordering a 3.0 when the order banks open for the 24s, but they are not updating the SUVs to the LZ0 until 2025 now. We will have to wait....

Love it. You're going to want the 6.2. The 5.3 just didn't have the punch I wanted. But I had a really hard time finding an AT4 with a 6.2. Maybe there are more now.
