My wife was using this 9/16 to take apart a dog run yesterday. She had already removed several panels but this particular nut is stuck. I gave her a 14mm and that seemed to work better (unless she grabbed a different size after I got back to my chores).

What's your best method for getting this out? I do not have a vice here but can get access to one.

Plus she started while I was away from the house or I would have helped!

Thread a bolt into it and use a hammer to tap it out.

Tighten it back into a bolt that size. Wrench will pop loose. Then use the correct wrench to get it back off.

Put on top of big socket and punch it out.

beat the hell outta it.

Or....you hold, wife uses big screwdriver/punch and hammer to beat it out. Careful how you talk to her while shes holding such devices.....

but seriously, thread it back on to the bolt

If you have a propane torch heat the wrench to make it expand just enough to let the nut fall out.

Or put it in the oven to heat it.

Previous suggestion of using a bolt also works.

If you heat it, don't forget to wear gloves.
