Few months ago, my 2018 F150 started throwing all sorts of alerts on the dash for all the sensors (Cameras, cruise control, parking sensor, backup sensors) took it into Ford and they said it was a hub assembly and they would get back with me. Now going on 2 months with all the sensors going off. Anyone else have these issues? Only 60K miles.

How old is your battery? Sounds more like an electrical issue instead of a bad wheel speed sensor.

~5 years

Replace the battery first. It's relatively cheap and easy and at 5 years, you're due anyway. Might just fix your problem.

Thanks, I will do that. Can't hurt to try.

yeah, I'm having a hard time correlating camera, parking sensor, backup sensor, etc, to a wheel speed sensor

Did they tell you which one is malfunctioning or how that ties in to the other systems? Wheel speed sensors are like $30. You could change it out yourself if you want to cross that off your list of suspects

Hub assembly wouldn't cause all that. There's only one sensor on it. I just did the front hub on my expedition which is probably the same or very similar and it was $200 for a good timken part and about 3 hours total work since I hadn't done one before. It could be done in an hour at a shop with a lift.

$200 part, $150 labor, or they're ripping you off.

Well it wasn't the battery. Anyone replace a wheel speed sensor? Is it very difficult?

This thread might help.

Typically replacing the sensor is pretty easy once you remove the caliper and the rotor. Usually 1 allen bolt and a wire connection.

Hubs are easy too. If you are doing a hub, forget the Ford dealer and get a good Timken from Rock Auto. You'll save a ton of money.
