Hardtop. The front and mid panels come off easy. Yeah - that back section is a little awkward + heavy. Having a friend helping out momentarily

It was a typo above. 2023 are already being built. 2022 orders not fulfilled have been pushed to 23s. The only '22 still out there are on a chip hold

What is the appeal over a Wrangler that justifies waiting years?

After over a year of waiting and having to change dealers due to getting screwed by Ford, I was finally able to pick her up Thursday morning! Drove it home and the wife & I turned around to leave for vacation that afternoon, got back late last night. After thinking about it all weekend and not being able to drive it, I woke up early to get ready for work so I could finally get this on the road... lets just say this is the current state. MF wont start due to electrical issues and I have to get it towed to Tommie Vaughn Ford for service, the dealer I bought it from is too far for me to have it serviced through. No loaners available either.

Car gets full electrical power, just wont start. I disconnected the battery to see if it could reset and nothing. Jumpstart and nothing. Set to be towned later this evening.

BFH fixes everything.

Check to see if the fuse/relay for the starter are fully seated and not blown. Seen many posts on different forums for Ford and Jeep that half the fuses are not fully seated when checked.

Back when I was looking at the diesel Wrangler, there were posts about warning messages that popped up for DEF pump failures that eventually turned out to be due to loose fuses.

I know you're talking Wrangler, but I just dropped off my 2020 Grand Cherokee at the shop with shifting issues and a check engine light at 47k miles. Long story short, I won't find out for more than a week for sure, but it's a decent chance I'm getting a new transmission.

And I would be in your shoes, but my wife totaled my ride while I was waiting for my Bronco to be built, so I canceled my order.

Does anyone have any feedback on the Lux package... specifically the B&O speakers? That's my main driver for wanting this package as I want the best-sounding speakers, but I am really having a hard time locating one, and it sounds like the order bank for '24 with the Lux package is going to be a cluster.


Is it worth it if you do enjoy good sound or is it a better idea to try and find a suitable high-package option?

The B&O in my F-150 sounds fine for my old man ears, but lots of folks on the forums complain about the B&O. If that is your only real driver, skip it and put in aftermarket equipment. I'm sure it will be cheaper and sound better.

The 12 speaker B&O in my expedition is nothing special. However, the 18 speaker B&O unleashed in my F150 was well worth the price (standalone option) to me because I did not want to consider aftermarket upgrades and the sound quality is great.

If it were my money i would not upgrade to the lux package solely for the B&O.

I didn't really appreciate The B&O in my Tremor until I bought this Silverado RST. Night and day difference.

2022 EG Badlands Lux Package - I've only gotten compliments on the B&O. It bumps @ volume 20 and it's plenty loud with the top completely off. Not an audiophile by any means. I believe the Lux also comes with the bigger screen and that thang is BIG

Yeah it sucks, I really, really want the Lux package but I just can't find one in the color I want. I'm already going to pay over msrp, I just wish I could get the speakers I want especially if I'm going to pay more. The high package does have the big screen too at least.

Outside of that, the only big differences between Lux and High to me was the wireless charger (which everyone complains about) and the adaptive cruise control. So when Ford came out earlier this year and said any Lux, MIC, Sasquatch orders are getting screwed for this year, I opted to drop the Lux for high as it still had the big screen and 360 camera. Saved line $1,800 by dropping the Lux.

Some people on the forums are upgrading the standard speakers on their own for a lot less. Once I finally get mine back from repair, i'm gonna drive it for a bit and see if I want to chage the rear speakers.

Dealer called last night and said it was a faulty starter... will take til tomorrow to fix.

hoping that it really is just a faulty starter and not some strange electrical issue some people are having!

Yeah, I think that's what I will look into. I just want something that sounds good when the top is off. I haven't done anything aftermarket to a vehicle since I was in high school, and that was when everyone was obsessed with putting gigantic subs and amps in their vehicles, and had ghetto-looking wires running through the cabin. I'd like to avoid that, but I'm sure it's a pretty easy fix these days.
