Just bought a '22 Tundra in Brenham a month ago. The dealership there adds cat guard plates to every new vehicle they sell.
Worth it, in my opinion.

Absolutely no reason to use OE cats. If you go str8 pipe, you won't have to worry about cats being stolen or additional cost of a cat shield.

I've already got the after-market cats on. I preferred the OEM. I pay for insurance that covers OEM parts. But I'm not waiting 100 days.
BTW, now my check engine light is on and I have to go back. This is why I preferred to have the dealership fix it.
