Any recommendations? Not worried about price as much as quality.

Interested in this as well. I know there's one that can be removed and placed back with one person when needed that I'm interested in.

What will you use it for? How often will you need the full bed?

I have a Diamondback HD on mine, and its awesome. Pricey....but awesome. More secure than my cab, built like a tank.

Only prob with the diamond back is you'll have to remove it for a gooseneck.
If that's not an issue I'd go that route.

Otherwise I've been happy with my retrax

I also have a Diamondback HD and love it. Once you get the initial center panel placement down, it's easy to take on and off in around 15 minutes.

I put the MX4 Bakflip on mine. Had one on my F150 and liked how sturdy it was and easy to remove if needed.

Truck covers USA. Mine gets opened multiple times a day and has lasted well. But pricey

Have an Extang Encore tri-fold. Installed myself, can remove it by myself in 2 mins. Can fold up and lock and be used with a gooseneck. Fully walkable and lockable and keeps everything dry. Bought it new for $900. This is my 2nd one as I also had one on a 2015 F-150.

I've had two of these. One on my 2017 F250 6.5' bed and on a 2018 F350 8' bed. Picture shows an F150 but the description says it'll fit a F250 6.5' bed. Very sturdy, easy to install. A bit heavy for one person to remove but i've done it before.

I've been waiting on the new bakflip revolver that I ordered in October from Texas Truck Riggins.

I'm on my second of these where the cover rolls up into the toolbox. First one was fine, but I let it go with my old truck.

This is the way. I'm about to pull the trigger on one for my Tundra.

If you decide on MX4 then make sure to call Luke at Truck Alterations. He's WAY cheaper than anywhere else and it will be delivered to you next day (well pre-COVID so who knows anymore).

I have one on the truck I just bought. How secure are they?

In other words what can I leave (and for how long) and not leave in there?

Anyone can get into anything if they really want to. Its a deterrent that hopefully gets them to move to the next truck.

It's locked if your truck is locked, but like ntouch said, if someone wants in it they'll find a way just like anything else.

Let me ask it this way:

Would you be comfortable leaving something (say a pressure washer or maybe a generator) in there while you go in to 7/11 to get a drink? What about a drink and do some business?

What about the same tool overnight at a hotel?

Yes and no. I have done it and am fine with it. Overnight I wont leave anything in there that I am not comfortable losing. If somehow they can unlock the truck then all bets are off since they can open it. I would think for someone to break into it, it will take a bit of time and not something that they are going to do in the middle of the day. Also the rail sits a little lower than the side of the bed so that will cut down what you put into it with the cover folded down.

That's sort of what I was thinking. No one would bust open the thing in a semi-crowded stop-and-rob parking lot but in a hotel one after dark...

Of course, you could always get those magnetic signs to put on your truck with some sort of brand name "infectious waste" disposal with lots of rubber gloves visible in the back seat and its doubtful that anyone would come anywhere near it!!
