Back story...
I have a 2019 F150, bought it new. I always run the AC on recycle and managed to keep the new car smell for over year. I keep the inside very clean.
XLT, so cloth seats.
Took it in for some recall on the turbo charger. Got it back from College Station Ford and the inside of the truck smelling like the shop - grease, metal, etc.
Very strong odor and now its stuck in my vehicle. I'm so pissed off at them. It's not like they had to pull the doors off to fix something in the motor.
I have wiped it down, changed out the cabin air filter, and put some charcoal in it to absorb the bad smell. It has gone down but I still smell it when the air is on recycle.
Any advice? Ozone machine? I really don't want to put one of those gas bombs in there as it will forever alter the smell. I just want to get it back to neutral.
