72 K Blazer with a 350 and what I assume is a TH350. It's missing 2nd gear unless I hit 40 or jam it from 1st manually, now I've got a pretty significant pan leak going. For planning purposes, I'm expecting a rebuild or replacement. Does anyone have a shop to recommend around the med center?

Yep! Called em, $2400 for a turnkey replacement. I need that yeehaw back, just curious about other options. I find that Michael Berry sponsors tend to be about 20% above market...

Early 80's, actually. They ran it forever. I can quote it word for word. I also remember the commercial that ended with the lady bouncing some huge caddy convertible out of the parking lot while waving a straw hat in the air.

Thunderbolts been around for a long time because they do sound work as I understand it.

I just used AAMCO on the south loop. the parts guy at the desk sounds pretty good.

I've used Thunderbolt in the past for both engine rebuild and ******. I didn't go back to Thunder this time for convenience and I believe they will just swap yours with a rebuilt core from a previous truck.

Yes the one I recall is the blonde with a cowboy hat in a Cadillac. It was the early 90s by the time I saw it.

Depending how much you drive it, you may want to consider upgrading to one with overdrive like a 700R4.
