Supposedly the price is supposed to be 1% below dealer invoice, plus any incentives you qualify for.

I am trying right now to get a copy of the invoice to verify the price they gave me.

Sticker Price: $44,775
Online Price with all Incentives: $37,975

Price breakdown they gave me:
Market Value Selling Price - $44,775
Discount - $2,155
Incentives - $5,000
Adjusted Price - $37,620

The price I got IS below the online advertised price. This is only my second new vehicle purchase, so I am trying to be a little smarter this time.

You can do better. Right now there are dealers who will do 7% below invoice on FCA vehicles - if you have a tread lightly membership, that 7 will become 8%. The trick is finding out who is doing the deals. The best way is to find the main enthusiast website for that particular vehicle and the members will post which dealerships are offering what.

AgDoc is correct. Dealers don't pay invoice. Holdbacks are at least 6% and then there are other dealer incentives on top of that. Unless the car is popular and in short supply, invoice isn't a good place to start.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one since it's basically Wrangler truck. No, not that either.

It is a 2020 Chrysler 300S with the 5.7 V8 and practically all of the other options. Have only seen two like it and they are both at the same dealership. Nobody else for at least hundreds of miles seems to even have them with the V8.

Edit: Can hardly find them used either and not nearly as well equipped.

You will likely save money by ordering a 2021 over buying a 2020 off the lot, especially if the options are as rare as you say.

Still waiting to see if they are even doing 2021s. The latest I heard was production would start in December, with vehicles showing up on lots in January and February. And supposedly this is the last year they are making them, so won't they try to sell them for a higher "last chance to get one" price?
