That could be tough in college station without a super charger in your back pocket for one offs. Once you have a full charge, unless you are driving more than 60 miles a day you should always be able to get back full overnight.

Are you driving a lot of miles. It's been a year for me with no special hookup and it's been a non issue.

Also, beautiful car A tint would look great on her If you decide to get.

very common among people that take their detailing seriously. New cars come with rail dust and other imperfections from transport. People like to clean all that up and get a good protective coating on ASAP

this isn't a thing anymore. Modern clear coats are fine after a few days. Most new cars have been cured for a few weeks before delivery. Months if they come from overseas

14-50 Outlet installed this morning. 30 mph charge rate.

$600 from University Electric to install new/upgraded breakers, 40' of conduit, new outlet. Took about 2.5 hours.

Only thing left now really is whether I am going to have the windows tinted.

What's the drive experience like? Do you feel like it's roomy enough to fit kids/stuff/etc?

Sure thing. Drive is amazing. So quick and smooth. Quiet over smooth roads, can get a little louder over rough due to how low it sits and bigger tires.

Autosteer is great, though complex road markings can confuse it sometimes.

I have one kiddo in booster seat, and no room issues. Easily fit 4 adults and a kid, plus plenty of storage.

I'm a truck guy waiting on my Cybertruck, but I'm enjoying the Y.

Just curious. Are you considering any other truck EVs, like the Rivian R1T, or are you set on the Cybertruck?

Rivians size was a non-starter for me, as its closer to Honda Ridgeline than F150.

I'd be more interested in the Nikola Badger if I didn't think it was vaporware.

I'd be interested in an OEM ev truck if its specs were on par with Tesla.
