Probably going to take the surprise tax return and buy a bed cover for the truck.

From reading the autoboard it looks like the Bakflip MX4 is the favorite. Any reasons why to not consider the Revolver X4?

One advantage I can see is when its rolled all the way up flush with the back window you can still see out the top half of the window.

Love my Revolver X4. I think the MX4 is good as well, but I don't see where it does anything better than the Revolver. By contrast, I think the Revolver has one or two advantages, as you mentioned.

The revolver is Aluminum w/ Vinyl while the bakflip is Aluminum. Also, in the open state you lose a little more bed with the revolver than with the bakflip. As stated though, you have some view out the back window with the revolver.

I've had the Bakflip MX4 on my 2016 F150 Supercrew for close to 4 years now. It's really held up well. Would buy again.

I had the Revolver X4 on my F150.

Really liked it.

Not to hijack the thread, but wanted to know if anyone has had the undercover ultra flex? I spoke with Luke this morning about getting the MX4 and he seemed to really like the Ultra Flex and suggested taking a look at it. Has anyone heard anything about it?

I have this on my AT4. I really like it over all but it does not seal up well against the multi pro tailgate. That being said.. that seems to be more of a common issue with all these related to that gate design not just the ultra flex. It does come with a factory 5yr warranty vs the 3yr. Luke suggested it to me as well. Super easy to install yourself. I watched countless reviews and videos.I liked that it didn't lean against the cab, but it is a little taller than some of the MX4s so it does block my rear view mirror/camera system but that would only occurs when fully open. I would likely have something tall blocking it anyway if fully open so it may be a non-issue. Overall it's good

it was about 20% less than I saw anywhere online.

Great to hear! I ended up getting the ultraflex and put it on myself last week. So far, so good. Came with a broken drain clip on the passenger side rail, but they sent out a replacement pretty quick and it didn't affect the installation. My only trouble was getting the tailgate to shut with the cover closed, or closing the cover with tailgate closed. It seemed really stiff and took some slamming to close each. Since then it hasn't been a problem and closes fine.
