Is that in 4x4?
Yes and with the E-locker engaged, but I did shift to 2wd in 2nd gear. These trucks have to have drag radials to hook in 2wd. Most of the drag racing guys are buying RCSB 4x4 trucks to build. You lose whp on the big end, but the traction off the line makes up for it. Mine's 6 speed, but the 10 speed trucks are consistently 1 - 1.5 seconds faster mod for mod. Crazy what a daily driver can do these days.
Did you see the 9.2 F-150 pass from Quick30 this weekend? STRONG!

That is damn fast! Shouldn't be out of range with a little more money in the trackhawk...

Ok. I wasnt sure if it was a warning like the traction control engaging or something

Just need a 200 shot and a drag pack!

I won't believe until you prove to me you aren't the hardest working man in oil.

Congrats on the super truck. If it makes you happy, I'm seriously happy for you.

I just don't get the hyper truck thing. You've got 333 HP per ton. Which, granted, puts it at ZO6 levels EXCEPT when it comes time to brake or corner. Then you're still in a 5300 pound super tall SUV.

Not trying to pee in your cheerios, I am happy for you. I just don't get it.......

*edit* I would love to take this drivetrain and slam it in an old Mopar B body though. AWD and all!

Cool truck. Thanks for sharing. Sounds awesome!

I'm looking for a new Jeep in early 2020 but I need ground clearance so the Trackhawk isn't going to make the cut for me.

Lol you aren't peeing in my Cheerios at all. This truck has a lowered suspension (sway bars, eibach springs, bwoody kit) and the body roll isn't nearly as bad as one would think. Also has upgraded rotors and pads that have some real bite to them to make up for lacking in the stock configuration. But your point still remains.

So why do I have this? Well I have had a ton of different fun cars, some making a lot more power than this, some handling way better than this, some way nicer than this, but this is the first vehicle I have had that can fit my wife and I, our two kids, and dogs in and smoke all 4 tires from a stop light.

There is something inherently stupid cool about that.

In addition to this, moving quick in something that's not supposed to be quick is hella fun

We live in wide open cornerless Texas. Lots of places you can enjoy ridiculous acceleration without the need for race track quality braking and suspension components.

Sure a car would be faster (I have a faster car than my truck (not the trackhawk) even though it's broken at the moment), but it's fun to have a practical daily driver that will slam you back in your seat when you want it to. Hell, I work in construction and haul trailers with mine. I use the 4x4 almost daily on muddy construction sites.

This is true. A buddy of mine had a woody paneled station wagon with a 440 and a 6 pack when I was in high school. Smoking all the mustangs and IROC-Zs in town was a Saturday evening staple for us.

Ok that is screwed up, my wife made an excel spreadsheet in June of the vehicles we have owned and it came out to 37.

It is a stock unported blower. Obviously I am spinning it up a bit...

Yeah, that's got to be pushing the limits on that blower, but they've done some amazing things with it so far.

TLDR ALERT: I nerd out on stuff.

It absolutely is on the limits of the blower. You made a joke about the best method of cooling and you aren't wrong about that either. I have had nitrous cars before and it works wonders on pd blower setups, but I got tired of running out, having to refuel with high octane hard to source fuel because I didn't want to run a stand alone, and taking up freezer space with extra empty bottles.

I also don't really care for Meth. My problem with it is not if it is going to be so corrosive that something will invariably get eaten through from it, but when. Then you are left with an empty tank going WOT and soon enough a blown engine. So what am I supposed to do with a blower that is spinning at such high rpm's that almost any hp gained from the boost is negated by heat soaked air?

I wanted to make sure all of my cooling mods were scalable when I take the next step up in power. I am running E85 to keep things cool, ID1300X injectors, Fore triple fuel pumps to push the kind of fuel needed (I am getting my power numbers based on fuel consumption not dyno testing. I could care less what some dyno reads, tune on the street only where you will actually be driving the damn thing), bigger stainless steel braided fuel lines (8 AN,1/2"), massive heat exchanger with two electric fans, and a custom 4 gallon coolant/ice expansion tank where the spare tire used to be and dedicated pump. On a 10-15 second pull, IAT's drop back to where they were within 3 seconds. Oh how I hate not having turbskies lol

Fuel lines and regulator (mountup!)

Heat Exchanger and expansion tank:

A few other things, aftermarket slotted rotors really do help this thing:

Red interior ftw:

I've only ran two bottles thru racetrok, but running nitrous definitely seems like it takes more preparation than boost.

Keeping the bottle filled, actually filling the bottle, swapping bottle out, warming up the bottle, all the switch flipping to activate, and for me, getting the trans to hold the gear to avoid spraying on the downshift.
