He clearly stated he bought the building in Oct to move his collection into it.
Holy **** - just when you think it can't get more ridiculous. Wow, you do double down endlessly!MBUSA said:Ol_Ag_02 said:MBUSA said:jetch17 said:
i have a co-worker with a place in Dripping, huge car nut - can he stop by your shop and look around sometime this week?
He can do whatever he wants. Nobody is going to be there. He won't see anything inside.
Hey.... you *******s back off of MBUSA. That hotel / restaurant / retail / car detailing empire doesn't run itself.
Diversification is the key. The retail and real estate has been my mainstay for 28 years. The hotel and restaurant are 8 and 6 years old respectively. The detailing thing started because the few people to do show quality work are pretty booked.and the high end market has exploded in Austin.
I guess it will also piss some off that I am an initial investor in COTA.

I know if I had a car collection like that I certainly wouldn't have any pictures on my phone of me with the cars and I definitely wouldn't want car junkies to come see them...
Oh wait, the exact opposite is true.
Actually, I was going to ask why there are four De Tomaso Panteras sitting in the garage. Seems like an odd choice.Goat Man said:
Mr. MBUSA: Your car collection is outstanding, you obviously have good taste. I might suggest you work on the art of the 'humble brag'. Your posting technique is awfully familiar to the Barnes poster others speak of.

I think I found the shop. I searched "commercial listings dripping springs tx" and looked at commercial listings until I saw a similar building, then checked Google Maps streetview.

In October I picked up a place in Dripping Springs which I'm in the process in turning strictly into my race shop.

From what I can tell, the last name on this car is "Wester" which matches to "Medical Capital Recovery, Inc." and the shop address I found near Barton Creek.GrapevineAg said:

Wow, MFBarnes visits the auto board. We should feel privileged.
Been sitting on the MBUSA sock for 2 years?
The original thread which took down mfbarnes the first time. The whole thing started on the Auto Board. #TexAgsKnowsStuff

Just read through that thread, wow. You guys should have let him dig this hole a little deeper before filling it in on him. Still a good laugh though.
Y'all look pathetic because I'm not Barnes.
What if MB is not Mark Barnes but Michael Bennett? He's got a crazy streak in him.hatchback said:
Medical Capital Recovery, Inc. has nothing to do with "Retail and real estate; a hotel and restaurant in Austin." which he mentioned a couple of pages back.
I'm convinced MBUSA is an epic troll.
*gulp* any Austin-area hotels listed? Potentially started in the last 6-8 years?tk for tu juan said:
Corporate lawyer with 5 patents in the processing of Medicare payments. Definitely the background needed to own a plethora of cars. He is also has a sushi place/company in Austin
Yep. "Lindsey" was so convincing that Barnes got all of aggiehawg's personal information: name, phone, private email, etc. And hawg is suppose to be some super experienced attorney.Bregxit said:agdaddy04 said:
So it's a legit back story?
So was Barnes' assumption of Lindsey Del Riego's (ldelriego on TexAgs) identity, complete with real life photos of her and her family.

Use the garage door for measurement. Not even close.
