I bought the Undercover Flex (trifold) from Luke a few months ago. Very happy with the sturdiness, ease of installation, design, and flexibility. It can fold all the way up for full bed access without removal, or snap in place for 2/3red use. He does give excellent prices.

How bad is it? I just picked up a new AT4 and was about to pull the trigger on one. I was googling looking for troubleshoot/quick fix ideas but didn't see much. A lot of people complaining about the dealer installed trifolds, but not much on these.

It's really not bad at all. I honestly have only noticed it once.

How hard is the Revolver X4 to remove for those of you that have it? I'm not a huge fan of leaving a cover on the bed of the truck full time so looking for something that isn't a pain to remove. Like the ease of use of the X4 but if the LOMAX is easier to remove and install back then that might be the better path to go.

I just have an MX4 but after looking up the revolver it simply appears to be a rolling version of the MX4 which is easy to take out. Just take two nuts off and it lifts out. I would think the one you're referring to would be even easier since it rolls up. Probably lighter.

I just roll the revolver up to the max and clip to the front of the base, and I've never had to remove it.

Just purchased a Lomax through Luke a few weeks back. I have been very happy with it so far. Had to remove it for an impromptu family trip through a Holiday Light show (think Santa's Wonderland, but on a farm in PA) and it was quick and easy.

While I didn't necessarily purchase it because of entirely waterproofing the bed, we did have several days of heavy rain last week, and there was almost no water in the bed. Minor traces near the tailgate, but nothing that would have caused any issue to cargo.

Very happy with the purchase. Installed on a 2021 Ram 5'7" bed.

Called again, left a vm again and still nothing. Really want to get it installed this weekend if possible. Anyone know of another number for him? How much better are his Retrax prices vs elsewhere?

I'm really torn between the lomax and mx4. I spoke to Luke earlier today and he's going to send me pricing on both. Anyone have any gripes about not being able to put much weight on top of the lomax? I really like the weight rating of the mx4, but the lomax seems to be much more watertight. I have an AT4 for reference.

With all the rain in the last couple of weeks, my MX4 has kept my bed bone dry. It's pretty impressive.

I installed a Lomax cover on my 2021 F150 6.5' bed. Bought direct from factory. Fast shipping. Fit was perfect. One man installation was easy. No drilling required. Snug seal all the way around. I have driven through some heavy downpours lately and no leaks. I got the black urethane finish and it looks great. I do not intend to put anything on top of the cover. It is easy to pin the cover back or take it off.

Wait, people put stuff on top of the bed cover?

After owning both, Lomax hands down. Simpler design but feels so much better made.
