Oh boy, the search continues.

Thanks for the feedback from my previous post in regards to the new 2020 Lexus GX 460. Based on what we saw with the dated interior, we have decided to move on past this model.


A few weeks ago Cadillac announced their newest model, the XT6. It is a mid size 6-7 passenger suv. It offers the 2nd row captain seats (a must for us). Anyone test drive one yet? Any feedback / thoughts / comments?

I like the interior, but the exterior looks a lot like the first generation (2007-ish) Cadillac SRX and Volvo XC 60 and XC 90. I'm not a big fan of that particular "look", but I can get past that.

yup...sure looks the same. The 2020 Acadia looks a lot better than the 2019. I'll be curious to see what the price difference will be between the 2020 GMC/Cadillac.

Never go full Lambda

I was looking forward to this model and was disappointed when it came out. Zero sex appeal. Compare this to the upcoming Lincoln Aviator and Lincoln just keeps winning. I was really looking forward to the CT6 and found that to be a letdown as well. I really hope Cadillac gets it together soon. I am of the age where I should be driving a Cadillac, but Cadillac keeps trying to be Audi with sharp angles.

How's the re sell market on these? Reflecting styling and dependability, I bet it's not good.

If they ever get the new Aviators on dealer lots, I might suggest that, but they are taking forever to roll out new products.

Ya, I definitely want to go test drive one and see what the back row seat spacing looks like.
