960#'s on the tongue would run you out of payload pretty quick. Think you made the right choice and you can upgrade the trailer anytime.

Have a '16 F150 and a '97 F250 4wd super cab with the IH 7.3 with only 141k miles. Would never trade the '97

CDL not needed for travel trailers.
He said Class A, not CDL. In Texas there is a Class A non-CDL as well as CDL.

Correct. Class B gets you a GVWR/GCWR above 26000, and the Class A let's you tow a non ag trailer over 10000 lbs

Both available in non CDL.

Going through this same thing right now. Ultimately, it came down to price. Three big things for me...

1. F250 is about $10k more (platinum)
2. F-150 offers 0% for 72 while f250 is closer to 6%.
3. F250 won't fit in my garage height wise.

So I'm going to be ordering a F-150 platinum with the 6.5ft bed and tow mirrors soon. Will be leveled out with more aggressive tires and does everything any more that I want. And for much cheaper. And still looks BA.

You can get a 150 platinum with 0%?

I thought 0% is usually just for XLT and lower trims?

Ford offers the 0% selectively on different models (f150 but not f250), but doesn't care about trim level. I have 0% on my F150 lariat.
