Mid-size trucks are great! If you want to say a full size truck fills your needs better, that is cool. But you look dumb saying they aren't trucks or that they suck.

Mid-size trucks are lighter, do better in sand and many other off-road scenarios. They get better MPG. Are easier in the city. They are cheaper. Unless you are towing/ hauling over 6k/ 2k pounds it is more than enough.

I currently drive an F150, but that is simply to have more room for my kids. If I didn't need room for them I would buy a new Ranger or Tacoma.

Not sure about the bolded part. I went to get a 2019 Colorado and left with a 2019 Silverado. I saved money on the Silvy.
