My wife's company just notified her that she is due for a new car and has to pick one out of a list by tomorrow afternoon. Neither of us has time to take anything for a test drive before then, so we'll do some online research but I thought y'all would have better input. The company pays for the car, insurance, all maintenance, and fuel (personal and business use) and she'll probably have the car for 2-3 years (60K-80K miles) before they give her a new one. We don't have any kids now but probably will have one within the time frame of owning this car. Here are the cars on the list.
1) Chevy Equinox FWD or AWD 4dr LT
2) Chrysler Pacifica - ALREADY RULED THIS ONE OUT
3) Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium
4) Subaru Outback 4dr 2.5i Premium
5) Toyota Camry Hybrid LE CVT
There is also a Hyundai Sonata on the list but for some reason we'd have to pay something out of pocket for that one.
She doesn't have a strong preference but we travel quite a bit between Houston, South Texas, Oklahoma, and Denver in her car and we usually have our dog with us, so she is leaning toward the Equinox or the Outback. She is currently in a Volvo XC 60 which is a bit tight, but has overall been a good car. What do y'all think about ride quality, reliability, etc?
