Anyone know of a good shop who specializes in this around town? If so, are the head/tail lights pretty close in quality and design to the factory led's? Lastly, about how much would they run for front and rear? It's a 2018.

Just replace the bulbs only then. There's ample choice for LEDs on Amazon for f150 head lamps.

Are you trying to update to factory LEDs, or just wanting bulbs? There's an array of options available for these trucks.

I replaced my rear Incandescent tail lights with replacement LED bulbs and programmed the truck to not 'fast blink'.

They look great and have good light pattern without blinding you.

The OEM LED headlights are expensive as all getout. You're better off buying a spare set of halogens and getting them upfitted with LEDs.

Won't there be issues with putting LEDs behind Halogen lenses? The spread and throw of LEDs tends to be pretty different I think.

You can also check F150 LED HEadlights. I did their running board lights on my 18 and have been thinking of changing these out as well.

You can make the OEM LED lights work yourself with minor programming and wiring changes.

No need to pay that guy his insane prices.

Following up on this thread, I got the Diode Dynamics SL1 low beams in the mail yesterday, as well as the Morimoto LED fog lamp assemblies.

Installation for all four lights was less than 30 minutes. No flicker. No splicing, just pulled the fiber wheel liner back after removing the screws.

The DD are made in the USA and have a 3 year warranty and are designed to go into the reflector style housing. They're not cheap compared to the others out there but after a lot of looking around, they seemed to be the best.

The morimotos I had in the super duty already and had a good experience with them, so I hopped on these when there was a sale.

I'll go aim them this evening.

Anzo historically is garbage.

If you have lots of cheddar, the morimoto replacement headlight assemblies are supposed to be hot sh*t. But I'm not dropping 1100 for some headlights.

Interested in feedback on the SL1s after some night time driving. How do they look on the ground? Beam pattern similar to stock as advertised? No killer glare?

I drove it out last night and used the side of a shopping center to aim the lights. The pattern is actually quite nice. No hot spots and the pattern seems pretty uniform.

I did not adjust the low beams, but I did adjust the fogs because they're completely new housings. I had aimed them super low on purpose but jacked them up a little bit. Keep in mind fogs should be aimed low anyway.

Any chance we could get a night shot of the pattern for both the fog and low beams? I need to do something with my head and fog lights.

Look up the Sealight leds on Amazon. Lots of good feedback for those on the f150 groups.

What if I just need need new headlight bulbs because one on my 2011 FX4 has gone out? Is there a halogen light that is really better than others or are they all about the same? Can you swap the OEM bulbs from 8 years ago with something better without re-wiring the system?

Basically, I want to get the best new bulb that will just pug and play. Thanks!

Silver star is better than most but not as good as LED.
