Good afternoon everyone,
I've had issues with this code (Intermediate Sensor A Circuit) since mid-March when it started to pop up 1-2x per week. I took the car in, they determined that the sensor was toast, replaced with an aftermarket (didn't work) and finally replaced with a Ford OEM sensor (my rebuild transmission is apparently off a Ford).
Issue free for several months but now code appears each time I drive the vehicle. No change to performance that I can tell but it's annoying. Given how much trouble (and time) the shop took to address the issue is there anything I can do at home to attempt to address before taking it to someone? I know some of the transmission sensors can be reached by removing the battery and tray but I can't seem to find out the exact location of the intermediate speed sensor.
Also - any recs for a transmission shop in the Mid Cities? My regular shop refuses to work on transmissions and the folks they sent me to, while nice, are fairly far out of my way.
Thanks!
