Talk me out of one ... I've likely been spending too much time around the brosephs in Midland, but hell if the black/black one hasn't caught my eye and given me a wild hair.

They seem to be more abundant on lots around Tine on the 2018's, but are they still pretty much stuck on MSRP or being marked up?

I suppose I could finally come to my senses like the rest of the board and just look at some better optioned F150s given the price point

I bought one in February.

I smile every time I get behind the wheel. It's a blast to drive.

I found the one I wanted in Austin. That dealer wanted $7500 over sticker.

The dealer in College Station traded one they had on their lot to the Austin dealer. I didn't pay over sticker.

If you find one you want and then find a dealer that has one, but not what you want, they may be able to trade.

If the dealer doesn't have a Raptor to trade, they can't get the Raptor from the other dealer.

Other than that...don't buy one. Terrible. I have to make up things to do just to make excuses to drive it. It's terrible.

There were used Raptors on dealers lots asking more than I paid for mine new.

I'm not gonna do something totally stupid, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Literally kicking tires at this point. Again if things are still as absurd as it sounds like they may be, then of course other avenues can be looked at.

I've got a 2013. Like EMY92 said, I still smile every time I get in it. I like the look of the new ones but hate the exhaust sound.

Don't know if they've done anything to fix it on the new ones but the turning radius is crap. It can be a pain to park. Other than the 11 mpg. No issues.

Even with my enthusiastic driving, I'm getting better fuel efficiency in the Raptor than I did in my '06 F150 with the 5.4.
