After a recent trip my wife and I left her car at her parents. Two weeks later we get back to a dead car. Thought it was the battery, Autozone tested it and deemed it bad and replaced. At the same time, I also had Autozone test the starter/alternator and those got a thumbs up. A few weeks later, we came home to it dead again. Research and our handy fellow texager led us to disconnect the Hands Free Link (HFL) and that seemed to do the trick. Apparently they are known the crap out and errantly stay on after the vehicle is turned off.
Now that we got the new 4unner (thanks, Buck!), I'm stating to drive the Acura TL more and I've noticed that it is having a little trouble starting up. I drove over to Autozone to have them test everything again, but when he testing the battery, it came up at around 12volts and only 640 CCA, so he was not able to test the starter/alternator (again, those were testing ~month ago and were fine).
So where should I start testing for parasitic battery drain?
