So, in 15+ yrs of marriage I have pretty much the most unmaterialistic wife a guy can ask for. The one thing she's really liked recently is the Range Rover Sport. Her 40th Bday is coming up so I'm strongly leaning towards going big on this next car purchase for her.
2 Questions on this:
1: Is the reliability rep (or lack thereof) on this overstated? Meaning, I always hear a lot about "my LR/RR is in the shop again" or "if you have a LR/RR be prepared to have it or parts of it not working from time to time". I live in BCS, so I don't live near a LR dealership so if it really has a lot of issues then it might turn into a pain in the ass.
2: I think I know the answer to this but is it better to be a 2nd owner on this car from a depreciation stand point? I usually only hold on to cars 3-4 years before selling. I don't lease because as a family we put way too many miles on our cars.
