That's what I figured the case was, I'd trust an OEM junkyard engine more than a rebuilt aftermarket engine. If anything, take a junkyard engine apart some to ensure it's all good and replace any gaskets or seals that look to be leaking.
Also not sure how long of a weekend OP plans on, but I think anything short of 5 days is pretty optimistic lol
Agreed. I usually get the motor a week before, spend that weekend replacing gaskets, checking for leaks, etc.
Tinker with it after work in the evenings, and suit up Friday night, pull the old one out, and Saturday morning usually have the new one stabbed by lunch.
