Took the Heep over to Serious HP in Houston for a baseline run on their dyno before I install the supercharger.

Impressive results stock-ish! I have a Superchips 93 oct tune, Magnaflow RK exhaust and a new AEM dry flow filter in the stock intake box with 82k miles.

3 runs, first went through 4th gear and other two went through 3rd...first run was the strongest. Solid numbers over stock with just a tune (should be about 200/200 stock) on a Dynojet dyno.

One of these vehicles is not like the other...




Starting on the Sprintex tonight with my buddy...we might knock it all out in one night, will update!

I have a 2017 Sahara unlimited with a JKS 3.5 lift on 35s that's a dog. 3:73 gears and standard I might add. It was a dog off the lot before mods, but now it's a triple dog. I've been researching the heck out of super chargers, and drooling over a hemi swap. So, what made you go with sprintex? I am leaning magnuson, although I'm not certain anything is available yet for a 17.

Seems best install and bang for the buck, based off same supercharger as the Maggie and it's much louder

Worked until 11pm last night on it, about 45% done...I have no idea how V8s are swapped into JKs as there is not much room!

not well, that's why most all of the hemi swapped JKs fight over heating issues.

That's what I've read, but I want to know if its seat of your pants verifiable. It amazes me how underpowered these wranglers are off the lot.

schtick,

first thing i would do is change your gears. get your engine back into it's power band.

then, i'd do either a supercharger or a turbo over swap all day every day.

Totally agree on the gears, but it won't be enough. I've settled on a supercharger over swap, too expensive and turbo, too high of rpms to get the power. RIPP has impressive numbers but it seems to come with some issues.

It's at my other buddy's place that has done these before.

Installed over 2 very late nights, right now we have a coolant leak at the bulkhead and tuning issues.

Will be some more time, frustrated but patiently dealing with it.

Awaiting tune from Sprintex and my heater core is leaking...taking it to my favorite shop to repair or replace the heater core tomorrow.

I can say this...customer service from Sprintex is absolutely terrible, might just be the guy I'm working with...but he's a freaking space cadet. Chatting with the guys from OST Dyno to have them tune it instead, will try Sprintex's free tune first.

Being a manual it should be pretty straight forward...we shall see.

That area between the corner of the supercharger, throttle body and intake tube offers jussst enough room to get to it and pull it out.
