im really sorry to clutter up the board, but i figured yall might be able to help

i have a 2010 cx9 and none of the windows are working...meaning all 7 switched (four on drivers, and then all three other doors) are non functional.

obvious culprit is a fuse, which i switched out today and got nothing.

i saw something online saying it might be a power relay, and thats in the actual door switch, correct? meaning gotta take off the door panel?

any advice? or should i just suck it up and take it to a dealership. car is 7 years old so im just tempted to drive around without windows if its gonna cost a ton to fix.

appreciate yall's help in advance.

just to ask the dumb question...are you sure the master off switch isn't pressed?

not a dumb question because i double checked that myself. the master switch isnt the issue. i definitely checked that.

thinking that i need to replace the entire power window switch...but kinda dreading having to take of the door panel if that's not in fact the main issue.

Door panel removal is easy.

Mazdas used to have a fuse called "Room" that controlled things like the clock and the dome lights and stuff.

Did you check those as well?

i hadnt checked that one--the owners manual for the 2010 says that it only covers the overhead light...i'll check that out today.

so basically if it's not either one of those fuses, then its probably the switch.

wondering if its worth it to pay the dealership to figure out whats wrong then try and fix it myself

you could try disconnecting the battery for a bit and reconnecting. if that happens to work, youll have to re-learn the auto up-down function but that's easy to do.

Appreciate the feedback. I'm gonna tinker with it this afternoon.

Left work and the windows worked from all switches

Then turned the car off and none of the switches worked

Makes me think it's a wiring short somewhere

Is that a diy thing?

Try turning the car back on.

appreciate all the feedback. noticed that my battery terminal is pretty corroded. wondering if that has anything to do with it too.

If the car is operating normally otherwise, then probably not.

Pour a can of coke on it and the corrosion will disappear.

gonna do that today

dang it. was really hoping that the corrosion could have been the issue.
