Getting a mini van is akin to letting yourselves get fat. Don't throw in the towel and give up on life.

As mentioned, with only two kids I'd look at the Ford Explorer and Flex. Both available with the 3.5l boost, plenty of space for two kids and luggage, and a lot more fun to drive.
Nice. Yeah, we'd be getting the limited too so thanks for the feedback. My wife says if she has to drive a minivan she's getting all the bells and whistles. I'm fine with that... if she demanded a top of the line SUV you're talking 70K... no thanks!!!A&M Chopper said:
9K miles on my Limited. No major issues.
I've had a couple times where the transmission seemed to have trouble finding a gear from a stop. Rectified itself in a matter of seconds after I let off the gas. Also once had some codes pop up on the display saying the parking sensors were not responding but they seemed to be working just fine and I've yet to see that message again. The UConnect Theater responds a little slower than I would like when trying to set up something for the boys to watch in the second row.
Overall it's been fantastic.

I've owned two odysseys and one dodge and for me, it would be zero debate. Odyssey easy.
Yeah, that's definitely one of the things I've been thinking about! I'll be paying straight up list price for a new Odyssey unless I'm willing to wait for 6 months / a year after release.Shawdaddy said:
One other thing to keep in mind - and this helped with my decision - is that to get a deal, you will have to wait until the new oddysey has been out for a while. You can go get a great deal on a Pacifica now, since they have been out for a year already.
I've owned 2 dodge's. Sold the first 1 at 355k miles. The 2nd has 180k on it now. It's costed me a heater hose and a wheel bearing.Macarthur said:

We're pulling the trigger on an Elite Odyssey once we can find one with the White exterior and mocha leather. We looked at one at Honda of Spring on saturday and I wanted to run through the numbers before I made the purchase. Needless to say it sold 20 minutes after I left.
There are no incentives or deals at least on the Elite model. Pay MSRP or get nothing.
