Since the auto board is the foremost expert on plasti dip, I thought I'd come here and pose a question.

Has anyone used the Black Cherry plasti dip color? Does it look pretty close to Aggie maroon?

I'm looking to spray my Yeti/RTIC/Ozark/whatever magical cup that makes it's own ice

I know this is an old post, but figured I'd chime in.

What was said is somewhat correct. You don't want to dip parts that will see a lot of abrasive contact (nerf bars, side steps, even certain molding inside a car/truck), but I dipped my Yeti about 2 months ago and it's holding up pretty well. I hand wash it, and am careful to not rub along the top edge much. You can see slight lifting, but even with the lid being removed and put on, it's minimal damage. I threw a sticker on after I sprayed it.
