Anyone have a rec for 4x4 shops in West Houston Katy? Getting a new JKU and looking at a 2 inch lift and some bigger tires. Also need a new bumper with tow bar brackets (LoD or Rockhard) to tow behind the RV.

it's not in west Houston, and I haven't used them myself for anything yet, but all the Houston Jeep pages I follow on facebook speak very highly of the Jeep Slop Shop in Kemah. Might be worth a look.

or if you're mechanically inclined at all and have some basic tools, do it yourself and learn a lot about your jeep. lifts aren't that hard, and on a newer jeep, the bolts should all be pretty easy. jeepforum and youtube taught me to do a body lift, suspension lift, rear and front axle swap, and install a SYE (actually I still haven't quite gotten that right yet, and it's annoying me).

anyways, it's not my daily driver so I can afford to let it sit for awhile while I figure something out. not sure your situation. I digress.
